This website is operated by Deb Smith, trading as Deb Smith Naturopathy, ABN 30 750 092 036 ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Health Disclaimer, which form part of these terms.
The content on this website is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It is not personal health advice and does not take into account your individual circumstances, health history or medications.
Nothing on this website creates a practitioner–client relationship. That relationship begins only when you engage us for a consultation and we accept you as a client.
Please read our Health Disclaimer for important information about the limits of the services we provide.
Enquiries. Submitting an enquiry form does not create a booking, and does not oblige us to accept you as a client. We reserve the right to decline an enquiry where we believe we are not the appropriate practitioner for your needs, including where your presentation would be better served by a medical practitioner or registered mental health professional.
Bookings. A booking is confirmed only when you have completed the booking process and payment has been received.
Scheduling. Appointments are scheduled a minimum of 48 hours from the time of booking, so that your intake form and any test results can be reviewed before your consultation.
Your responsibility. You agree that the information you provide in enquiry and intake forms is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. This includes disclosing all current medications, supplements and health conditions. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the safety of any recommendations we make.
Current consultation fees are displayed on this website and are in Australian dollars.
Consultation fees cover the consultation only. Remedies and optional functional or pathology testing are additional and will always be discussed with you before anything is arranged.
Payment is collected at the time of booking through our secure payment provider. We do not store your card details.
We reserve the right to change our fees at any time. Fees applying to a confirmed booking will not change after that booking is confirmed.
Health fund rebates. Private health fund rebates for naturopathy are not currently available. The status of rebates for natural therapies has been subject to ongoing government review, and any future change would depend on legislation being passed. We do not represent that rebates are or will become available, and we recommend you confirm your own cover directly with your health fund before booking.
More than 24 hours' notice: full refund, or reschedule at no cost.
Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% of the consultation fee applies; the remaining 50% is refunded.
Non-attendance without contact: the full consultation fee is retained. For telehealth, Deb waits 15 minutes before this applies.
If Deb needs to cancel or reschedule, you will be offered another time at no cost or a full refund.
Unexpected circumstances, sudden illness, emergencies, bereavement, are considered individually. Please get in touch as soon as you can. Refunds are processed to your original payment method and generally appear within 5–10 business days.
Full details are set out in our Cancellation Policy.
Telehealth consultations are conducted using Google Meet.
By attending a telehealth consultation you acknowledge that:
